This is a reminder that TAFM invites the Tibetan community and friends to join in celebration of the Anniversary of Nobel Peace Prize for H.H. The Dalai Lama on December 10th 2006 at TAFM Community Center. However, recently TAFM and RTYC decided to jointly organize this auspicious occasion with a Fundraising Dinner Party for the benefit of recent Tibetan people’s activities in India. Therefore, please do not bring any food or alcohol drinks. The members of TAFM and RTYC with community volunteers will serve delicious food and all kinds of refreshment drinks.

TAFM Spiritual Committee organized celebration of ‘LHABAB DHUCHEN’ (Lord Buddha’s Descent From Tushita Heaven) on November 12 2006, at 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tibetan Community Center (TAFM), 1096 Raymond Ave, St. Paul, MN-55108.

On this auspicious day all the Tibetan community and friends are cordially invited to Join the special prayers, ‘Kanjur’ recitation, religious offerings of ‘Tsok’ and spiritual definition of Chamdo’etc; initiated by reverent monks. The participants will be served refreshment and food contributed voluntarily by kind donors and sponsors for this celestial occasion.

This is also a reminder that TAFM and RTYC jointly organized a “Talk on Current Developments in Sino-Tibetan Dialogue’ on Tuesday, November 14 2006, at 6:30 PM, Tibetan Community Center. It is a pleasure to announce that Dr. Lobsang Sangay, Research Fellow, East Asian Legal Studies Program, Harvard Law School, will be the Chief Speaker. As part of the North America Tours, His Holiness will make a brief stop here in Minneapolis during Which he will address the Tibetan Community in Minnesota . Due to His busy schedule, this event is especially earmarked for the Tibetans in Minnesota .
