སྤྱི་མཐུན་ཚོགས་པའི་རྒྱུན་ལས་གསར་འདེམས་གསལ་བཤད། 2020 Board members elections.

Board Election is scheduled this month:
Nominations are on July 18 & 19 and Final Voting is on July 25 and 26. 
The oath ceremony is tentatively scheduled on Sept 2, 2020 during Mangtso Duechen, Tibetan Democracy Day.

ELIGIBILITY TO VOTE:
Voters must be a TAFM member.
Membership due must be paid up to current year 2020.
2020 membership due can be paid at www.tafm.org.

NOMINATIONS: Saturday July 18 and Sunday 19, 2020 at TAFM (St. Paul). 
Every TAFM member can nominate up to 4 candidates from our community either online or in-person. 
Online Nomination will be available online at www.tafm.org on July 18 through 19.
In-person vote at TAFM office in St. Paul on July 18 & 19 from 10 am to 5 pm. 
Ballots containing more than four candidate names will be considered invalid. 
If the nominated name is a common name, please specify with his/her employment or city of residence, nicknames or anything to distinguish that person. 
Nominations end on July 19, 2020 at 5:00 PM 

FINAL VOTE: Saturday July 25 and Sunday July 26, 2020 10AM TO 5PM
Voting is by In-Person only at TAFM center in St. Paul on July 25 and 26, 11AM to 5PM 
Final Vote is to elect 4 board members for 2020-2023 term.
Each eligible community member can vote for up to 4 board members from the list of up to top 16 candidates from nomination round.
Final Voting will end on July 26, 5:00 PM
Ballots with more than 4 names will be disqualified. 

Outgoing Board members whose term completed this year can be nominated again for a second term:

Dorjee Tsegyal
Tashi Dorjee
Lhawang Tara

Current eight other board members will remain on the board and must NOT be in the nomination. They are: Samten Choedon, Ngawang Dolker, Sonam Arti, Gelek Namgyal, Tenzin Dangsong, Jampa Ngodup, Phuntsok Tsawog, and Tsultrim Thartse.
